GeoDrone collects no personal data. There is no account, no registration, no advertising and no analytics or tracking. Your location never leaves the device.

Location
The app can show your position on the map so you can check the geo zones around your take-off point. Access is only requested when you press the location button, and can be withdrawn at any time in the system settings. The position is processed exclusively on the device: it is not stored and not transmitted. Without location access the app remains fully usable.
Requests to the DFS geo service
To display the geo zones, the app fetches the open vector data of DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH from https://uas-betrieb.dfs.de/geoservices/dipul/wfs.
What is sent is the visible map extent as a rectangle of coordinates — not your position. As with any web server, DFS may process technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, the time and the address requested. The provider of this app has no influence over that; the DFS privacy notice applies (dfs.de/homepage/de/datenschutz). No account or key is used for the request, and the requests are not linked to a person.
Data on your device
Retrieved geo zones are stored with their geometry in the app's local container so the app stays usable without a network. The selection of visible layers and your acknowledgement of the safety notice are also stored locally. This data does not leave the device and can be deleted at any time:
- in the app under “Map data → Delete stored data”
- completely, by deleting the app
There is no iCloud synchronisation.
Tracking
GeoDrone does not track you. It does not use the Advertising Identifier, does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Permissions
Location, and only when you ask for it. The app does not use the camera, the microphone, contacts, photos, health data or motion data.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes what the app stores or transmits, this policy will be updated before that version is released and the effective date above will change.
