Releases collects no personal data. There is no account, no registration, no advertising and no analytics or tracking. What you enter stays on your device and, if you turn on iCloud Drive, in your own iCloud account. Nothing is sent to us.

What you enter
To fill in a release, you can enter details about models, property owners, photographers and witnesses: names, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, address, phone number, email address, a photo, a description of the property and the shoot, and signatures. All fields except those needed for the release you are making are optional.
This information is about the people you photograph. When you collect it, you decide what to record and you are responsible for it towards those people. Ethnicity is sensitive information; only record it with the consent of the person concerned.
Data on your device
Your library of models, properties and photographers, saved signatures and unfinished drafts are stored only in the app's local container on this device, protected by the device passcode. They are not synchronised to iCloud and do not leave the device.
Release PDFs and iCloud Drive
Finished releases are saved as PDF files. The PDFs contain the details and signatures entered for that release.
- With iCloud Drive turned on in the app's settings (the default when iCloud Drive is available), the PDFs are saved to iCloud Drive › ReleasesApp in your own iCloud account and synchronised by Apple to your other devices. Apple's privacy policy applies to iCloud (apple.com/legal/privacy). We have no access to your iCloud account.
- With iCloud Drive turned off, the PDFs are kept on this device only, in Files › On My iPhone › ReleasesApp.
You can share a PDF yourself using the share sheet; where it goes is up to you.
Photos
You can add a photo to a model or property using the system photo picker. Only the photo you pick is given to the app; it does not get access to the rest of your library and does not ask for photo library permission.
Deleting data
- Models, properties, photographers and drafts: swipe left on the entry and tap Delete.
- Release PDFs: swipe left on the release and tap Delete. With iCloud Drive on, this removes it from all your devices.
- Everything on the device: delete the app. PDFs in iCloud Drive › ReleasesApp stay there until you delete them in the Files app or on your Mac.
Links
The app's settings contain links to imageBROKER.com. They open in your browser; imageBROKER's own privacy policy applies to that website. The app itself sends nothing to imageBROKER.
Tracking
Releases does not track you. It does not use the Advertising Identifier, does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. The app makes no network requests of its own; synchronisation runs through iCloud Drive.
Permissions
None. The app does not use your location, camera, microphone, contacts, health data or motion data, and only sees the photos you pick.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes what the app stores or transmits, this policy will be updated before that version is released and the effective date above will change.
