Bodyweight+ collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Data we collect
None. The developer has no server, no database and no way of knowing who has installed the app or how they train. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us.
Data stored on your device
Bodyweight+ saves the following in its own private storage area on your iPhone:
- Your settings — difficulty, muscle-group preferences, warm-up and cool-down durations, and the equipment you told it you own
- Your progress through the ten-week programmes
- Your history of finished sessions and any workouts you saved as favourites
This stays on the device. It is not transmitted, shared or sold. Deleting the app removes it.
If you have iPhone backups enabled, this data is included in your own iCloud or computer backup, like other app data. Those backups are yours, controlled by your Apple Account settings; the developer has no access to them.
Apple Health
If — and only if — you grant permission, Bodyweight+ writes each finished workout to Apple Health as a workout with its duration and estimated energy burned, and removes it from Health again when you delete it from your history. Health data is held by Apple on your device under your control; it is never sent to the developer. You can refuse or withdraw the permission at any time in the Health app or in Settings, and the app keeps working exactly as before — its own record of your workouts is written first and does not depend on Health.
Tracking
Bodyweight+ does not track you. It does not use the Advertising Identifier, does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Permissions
Apple Health, optional and only if you turn it on. The app does not use location, the camera, the microphone, contacts or photos.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes what the app stores or gains any network feature, this policy will be updated before that version is released and the effective date above will change.
