The phone in the nursery listens. Your phone stays silent until the baby has actually been crying for a while — then it wakes you, plays the room, and gets louder the longer the crying goes on.
What it does
The point of the app is what it doesn't do: it does not beep at every creak of the cot. Nothing happens until the room stays above the loudness you set, for the number of seconds you set.
- No server, no account, no internet. The two phones find each other on your own Wi-Fi and talk directly, encrypted with your pairing code.
- The audio never leaves your home. Sound is only streamed while the crying threshold is met, and only to your other phone.
- An alarm that escalates. It starts quietly and grows, so a short grumble does not become a household emergency.
- Listen in whenever you want — the parent phone can open the room on demand.
Privacy
